The National Urban Policy aims to promote a sustainable, spatially integrated and orderly development of urban settlements. The focus of the policy is to provide adequate housing, infrastructure and services.

COMMENTS
The National Urban Policy is an explicit NUP. It is being implemented through Ghana’s National Urban Policy Action Plan. The plan defines the initiatives and activities within the timeframe of 5 years. The policy has yet to be reviewed.
