The Vision document focuses on the creation of urban centres and creating competitive nodes in the economy. Elements of the Vision include promoting inclusive growth, good governance, energy, water and food, investing in the private sector, building the knowledge economy, and enhancing regional connectivity.

COMMENTS
No explicit NUP. However, the federal government established a task force to develop an NUP in 2014. The NUP is at the diagnostic stage; diagnostic surveys of urban areas in Pakistan will serve as the basis for future NUP
