The 20 year vision seeks to establish East Timore as a prosperous and strong nation. The objective is to transform East Timor from a low income to upper middle income country. The plan aims to provide adequate food, shelter and clothing for all, it also seeks to improve the living standards of the population, improving literacy and employment rates.
COMMENTS
There is no explicit NUP. The country is focusing on rebuilding after being occupied. Its main focus is on capacity building rather than developing an NUP.
