Law N°06-6 provides a legal framework for the development of Algerian Politique de la Ville. The general governing principles of urban policy rest on: coordination and consultation, deconcentration and decentralization, neighbourhood bases management, human development, sustainable development, good governance, citizen awareness, culture and heritage preservation, and social justice.
COMMENTS
The law [Law no.06-06 of 20 February 2006] orients policy towards cities.
